Now we prepare the Wall of Honor for Cpl. Michael C. Kaufer.
The Marines and Corpsman that were in attendance from Cpl. Kaufer’s unit in North Carolina came out and thanked us each individually and then stood with us and spoke with us about our cause, we made sure that they all knew that we are behind them 100%.  I could see the sadness in those Marines eyes, though they stood strong out there with us during our conversations in there dress blue uniforms, it was obvious to anyone that spoke with them that they had lost a brother, but strong for their brother they stood.  (by Pesky Jester)
The tears filled my eyes as I turned to see Michael's step-mother making her way through the Wall of Flags to thank each and every one of us.
I went across the street to see if I could get a picture of everyone together; then this man walked up to me and told me that he wanted to thank us for the job that we were doing.  His voice trembled, although he had on the dark sunglasses; I am sure that there were tears in his eyes.  He stated that he had made a phone call to his boss asking that they could hold off on the road work until after the service and the boss said, no the job had to get done.  He told me that he was sorry that they were making so much noise.
Then after arriving at the gravesite I spoke to Lady Ranger about what he had told me; then she took actions in her own hands.  She called the 1-800 Number that was on the trucks and then they stopped the road work until after the service was over.  Thank you Lady Ranger.
Doc was having problems with his flag on the way to the Gravesite; finally he just pulled it off.  Notice in the second picture how he was going to try to carry it in his mouth......ouch!  But he then decided to give it to Lady Ranger.
