There were a total of 220 bikes and cages in the move to the cemetery. It was an awesome site, to see all the people on the sides of the road standing, holding flags, signs stating you will not be forgotten, or with just their hand over their heart. The oncoming traffic did not move until all passed from what I understand. I know several people stood outside their vehicles with their hands over their hearts. All in all there were a total of (5) states present (AL, GA, KY, MS, TN-middle, and west), Rolling Thunder Chapter, American Legion riders, riders from Bridgestone/Firestone (where JD's father worked) to honor this fallen Marine and his family.
