Once we are there; everyone gets them a flag and precedes to the Flag Lineup.
The display of flags along US 41A received alot of response from those passing by. One young mother parked her car and went down the line with her children and thanked each of us individually. Much like the ceremony itself, it is an emotional experience that you really have to experience to fully understand. You can see the pride in the expression of every single person that passes.

This is when the cold chills begin.  While walking around trying to make sure that I get a picture of all that came today; there were cars passing by blowing the horns to let us know that they appreciate what we were doing.  The chills were even worse for me when I would see someone in uniform come by blowing and waving.
Jeff was showing River how to pose for the picture......but didn't seem to work very well
What a pair!!
In this blue car is a soldier;
taking a picture of the Flag Lineup with his cell phone.
Looks like there is a celebrity in the Lineup.
More, letting us know that they appreciate what we do.
This employee from U.S. Cavalry walked down to thank us for what we were doing; trying to hold back the tears, she told us that her husband was in Iraq and that was why it meant so much to her.
Another passer by stops to see what we are all about.
It's time to start getting ready to go to the Eagle Remembrance Ceremony.
It looks like there is a BIG possibility that we will be getting wet.
And as you can see.....the possibility of getting wet...became reality!
Ted, did you forget to mention.......it was going to be "wet" today?
I felt like this family deserved something special.  While they sit and wait for their husband and father to return home; they put their time into things such as this.  I didn't get your names (except River, and I got his autograph), but I would like to say thanks for being there with us today.  Please tell your husband that we said thanks for putting his life on hold to protect our freedoms.  May God Bless you all!!
Although the rain made me leave my camera in the car during the Ceremony; I will have images in my heart forever.  This Ceremony was a very emotional one for me and I am so thankful that I was able to attend.
I would like to thank each of you for standing up for our Troops; they deserve everything we can do for them.
